Job Responsibilities:
- To actively work with factories to ensure that they are capable and meet all Wal-Mart’s quality and product safety requirements.
- To ensure that factories manufacture products which are safe, legal and of the right quality.
- Active involvement in factory audit, selection and improvement.
- Conduct necessary QA activities both pre and during production in order to identify in order to resolve production quality issues early in the product life cycle.
- Work with factories and suppliers, to improve factory base and product execution to consistently meet quality expectations and get thing right first time.
- Provide technical support to WMGP and factory management for products, suppliers & factories.
Educational Requirements:
- University – 4 year degree/Bachelors in Production management, or scientific / technical discipline.
- University-Masters
Experience Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Factory production and quality assurance
- Proven experience working in factories in production (shop floor level).
- Technical expertise in area of product responsibility and sound knowledge in other product areas product.
- Experience in working with retail and direct imports.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, procedures and best practice.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of strategic & operational plans so as to provide quality assured product which meet Wal-Mart’s corporate policies, rules, standards, national regulations and product briefs.
- To conduct all necessary QA / QC activities prior to and during product selection, product development, production in order to identify quality issues early and ‘build in’ right quality at the beginning of a products life cycle.
- Proactive involvement in factory audit / selection / improvement; in the production and agreement of specifications; reviewing performance, compliance with Wal-Mart’s standards, and testing certification, and monitoring of QC inspection programs.
- Provide technical support to WMGP for a varied range of products, suppliers & factories, in multiple locations, for a wide range of products.
- Working closely with GM to meet office goals and objectives
Educational Requirements:
- University – 4-year degree/Bachelors in relevant Scientific / Engineering discipline
- Preferred: University-Masters
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a retail buying office and a knowledge of product manufactory processes
- Technical expertise in areas of product responsibility and able to teach team to broaden capability and product knowledge

Position Name: QC Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage QC inspection process ensuring it runs smoothly.
- Report to QA Manager/Director of abnormal QC inspections status
- Review inspection reports and amend inspection result where relevant (with support from Merchants / Production Team / MQEs).
- Answer phone calls and e-mails from Retail Markets, QA teams, 3rd Party, suppliers, factories as well as merchandisers concerning inspection quality issues.
- Timely review / resolve the response of Daily Problem Settlement (DPS) from Merchandising team and suppliers.
- Quality issues investigation and reporting.
- Review shipping samples and defective samples to ensure quality and safety.
- Review travel expense vouchers of Coordinator (s).
- Review inspection procedure, requirement and standard routinely to ensure the whole inspection process more effectively and efficiently.
Educational Requirements: University graduate or above in related field preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years working experience in the same industry.
- With fluent local language & English skill in speaking / writing and reading.
- Knowledge in PC and software (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Email
