Job Description / Responsibilities

• Project Coordinator will assume overall responsibility for day to day project implementation, coordination and corresponding with respective stakeholders.
• Co-leading all project planning and implementation;
• Managing and providing supervision and guidance to staff, and playing an active role in mentoring and developing their professionalism and team spirit;
• Maintaining standard office operating procedures and practices and overseeing day-to-day functions of the project office.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Requirements: Master Degree in any discipline (Masters in Management or Disaster Management will be preferred)
• Experience Requirements: Three years experience in similar position in DIPECHO funded project.
• Age limit: 30 - 40 years

Additional Job Requirements

• Two years experience in Disaster Preparedness specially on Flood
• Trained in PRA, community mobilization, Monitoring, Fund management etc.
• Ability in Team involvement, Coordination, Team Management and has worked as a member of different teams.
• Skills in project reporting: Can draft report in English,
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Budgeting
• Good numerical skills
• Problem solving skills
• Relief & rehabilitation with development issues.
• Proven experience working with NGOs and government agencies, and with donor-funded projects
• Particularly strong financial planning and management skills
• Familiarity with results-based management
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Bangla.

Salary: TK. 20,000 (consolidated)
