Habitat is dedicated to eradicate substandard housing and homeless worldwide and is looking for interested and qualified candidates for the position of Grant Writing and Reporting Manager for its Bangladesh Program.

Grant Writing and Reporting Manager

Job Objective/Summary:
The Grant Writing and Reporting Manager, reporting to the National Director, is responsible for managing the Grants program cycle, including proposal development, programmatic & financial Monitoring & Evaluation including donor reporting. The position will be responsible for leading and coordinating the drafting, editing and submission of proposals as well as marketing approved project proposals. The position will also be responsible for developing a network for funding opportunities both nationally and internationally through foundations, organizations and institutions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, business administration, economics, finance or any related field, with minimum three years of experience in a senior management position with an international or national organization engaged in resource mobilization, proposal development/project design experience in an international organization, preferably in an NGO. Experience in the management of grant based funding programs preferred with cross - cultural management experience.
  • Able to play a key role in the strategic planning and direction of the NO projects.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Creative thinking for the formulation of concepts, plans, contracts and proposals related to Habitat For Humanity activities. Intensive research, both electronic and written.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately assess and qualify donor prospects.
  • Well developed computer equipment skills (internet, database management, spreadsheets, Microsoft environment).
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work well with teams that cut across departmental lines.
  • Experienced with planning, budgeting and reporting.
  • Self-starter capable of carrying projects through to completion with minimal to moderate supervision.
  • Well experience writing proposals for or working with specific donors such as major foundations, USAID, EU, World Bank, UNDP, etc..
