James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Research Associate with the Realising Rights: Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health for Poor and Vulnerable Populations Project. The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year with a possibility of further extension depending on performance.

Duty Station: Dhaka with frequent field visits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple research studies including conducting training of the data collectors and supervising data collection;
• Maintain communication with other related BRAC University and BRAC staff to ensure smooth running of the project;
• Maintain institutional relationship between James P Grant School of Public Health and other partners;
• Organize workshop/seminar to disseminate research findings;
• Supervise quantitative data entry and qualitative data translations;
• Provide necessary administrative support in the field;
• Perform both qualitative and quantitative data analysis based on the collected data and
• The person will also be responsible to write research reports with other team members.

Requirements:

• Honours and Masters Degree from any discipline with good academic records;
• Ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative data analysis;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Experience in data analysis and research report writing;
• Experience of using SPSS and ATLAS.ti will be preferred;
• An excellent verbal and written skills in English and Bangla is essential
