James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Research Associate with the Realising Rights: Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health for Poor and Vulnerable Populations Project. The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year with a possibility of further extension depending on performance.
Duty Station: Dhaka with frequent field visits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple research studies including conducting training of the data collectors and supervising data collection;
- Maintain communication with other related BRAC University and BRAC staff to ensure smooth running of the project;
- Maintain institutional relationship between James P Grant School of Public Health and other partners;
- Organize workshop/seminar to disseminate research findings;
- Supervise quantitative data entry and qualitative data translations;
- Provide necessary administrative support in the field;
- Perform both qualitative and quantitative data analysis based on the collected data and
- The person will also be responsible to write research reports with other team members.
Requirements:
- Honours and Masters Degree from any discipline with good academic records;
- Ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative data analysis;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Experience in data analysis and research report writing;
- Experience of using SPSS and ATLAS.ti will be preferred;
- An excellent verbal and written skills in English and Bangla is essential
