VACANCY - ANTIVIRUS PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Requirements

  • Ability to perform high level problem identification and attempt to resolve them.
  • Document all troubleshooting efforts in problem ticket and make prompt notification to responsible party for resolution in order to minimize the amount of time taken to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking incidents to ensure issue resolution within the parameters of Service Level Agreement.
  •  Perform incident notification and escalation to ensure problems/requests/issues are communicated effectively and receive proper management attention.
  • Work independently and maintain a high-degree of professional conduct at all times
  • The ideal candidate should be between 18-28 years of age.

Other criteria

  • Candidate must possess a recognized Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Networking or its equivalent.
  •  Extensive knowledge of Windows XP and Vista and allied operating systems is required for this position.
  •  Sound working knowledge of LAN/WAN/Networks, knowledge of IT protocols, email clients and servers, experience in troubleshooting PC/Software/Networking issues will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is a must with a flare for spoken and written. Caring attitude will certainly add value to the position.
  •  Minimum 1 year of working experience in Customer Service/Helpdesk environment is desired for this position.
